For hosts
You run the night
Not tech support. Not the rules lawyer. You're the MC — the one with the console, the script, and the god's-eye view of who's lying. The app handles the machinery. You handle the drama.
Showtime · your control room
The host console
One device. Big buttons
Everything that moves the night forward lives on one screen: start the game, open and close votes, run Hot Seats, advance the acts, launch the scenes, open the accusation, run the reveal. Each control is a big, obvious button that says what it does — because you'll be pressing it mid-banter, one-handed, holding a drink.
The honest arrangement: you run the show from your device while everyone else plays on their phones. Tap a button on yours, and every phone at the table updates instantly.
The MC layer
The app whispers your lines
You don't have to write material — the app feeds it to you. At the big beats, suggested lines land on your console, ready to read aloud. Flavor moments arrive as banners you can dismiss with a flick; the huge beats take over the screen so you can't miss your cue.
For the act scenes and the Smoking Gun ceremony, you get a full read-aloud teleprompter. You deliver the verdicts. The app makes sure you sound like you wrote them.
The Case Board
The god's-eye view
One tap opens the Case Board: every clue in the game, laid out for the only person allowed to see everything. Who opened each one, color-coded by player. Whether they've actually read it. What kind of clue it is — Plot, Chained, or Dead end. And what's still locked, with the unlock condition spelled out.
Tabs slice it All, per suspect, or Plot-only. So when the table swears “nobody found anything in Act 2,” you can smile — because you know exactly who's lying. It lives only on your device: the one screen in the house allowed to know everything.
Host superpowers
The night waits for you
Pause the whole game
One tap freezes everything — every timer, on every phone, mid-countdown. Pizza at the door? Pause. Sidebar argument about the thermostat? Pause. The game waits for you, never the other way around.
Mark a player away
Somebody stepped out for a call? Mark them away and every vote proceeds without them — no stalls, no chanting anyone's name at a bathroom door. Mark them back when they reappear, mildly suspicious.
Prep, honestly
About fifteen minutes
Your prep is roughly fifteen minutes: create the game, invite your friends, and nudge the stragglers to finish their surveys. The AI does the actual writing — the plot, the dossiers, the clues, the twists — all generated from your group's real answers.
You are not printing PDFs. You are not memorizing a binder. You show up, press the first button, and become the narrator.
Your entire job before the party
- 01Create the game, invite the suspects.
- 02Let the surveys roll in.
- 03Skim your opening line. Pour a drink.
Total: about 15 minutes. The AI writes everything else.
The curtain call
End the night with receipts
When the accusation locks, you drive the finale — the vote tally, the drum roll, the unmasking, the full story explained. Then the recap package lands: the night's best moments, plus superlative awards handed out to faces that absolutely earned them.
- Sharpest Detective
- Best Liar
- Most Wrongly Accused
- Lightning Rod
- Red Herring Magnet
