Data We Collect
When a game is created and played, we collect the survey answers and peer questions that the host and players submit to build that game's mystery. If you join the Bluff Club mailing list, we collect your email address. That is the list.

How It's Used
Game data is used solely to generate and run your game: casting roles, writing dossiers, generating clues and story, and keeping every player's device in sync during play. Bluff Club email addresses are used only to send Bluff Club updates.

Who Processes It
Who touches your answers. Your survey answers are sent to the AI services that write your game — OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google — as prompts, and voice answers are transcribed by AssemblyAI. That is the whole guest list: story generation and transcription, nothing else. These providers may retain API traffic for a short period (typically up to 30 days) for abuse monitoring under their own policies. We don't use your answers for advertising, and we never sell them.

How Long the Evidence Lives
Your host decides how long a finished case file is kept: from 1 to 90 days after the party ends (30 by default). When the clock runs out, the party — story, clues, answers, all of it — is deleted automatically. Hosts can also burn the file early, at any time. You can see the retention your host chose, download your own dossier, or delete the answers you provided from Settings in the app or on the web. This mirrors the promise on our Privacy page because it is the same fact.

Deleting Your Data
You can delete the answers you provided at any time before a game goes live or after it ends — without deleting your account. Leaving a game before it starts empties your seat (the host regenerates the story without you). While a game is actively being played, deletion waits until the final reveal; it's a few hours, and everyone's alibi depends on it. Deleting your account removes your data everywhere it can be removed and closes the account itself.

Your Dossier
Your own dossier and profile data are exportable by you. You can download them and reuse them to seed future games. Once exported, that copy is in your hands and under your control.

What Other Players See
During play, your private details stay on your own phone. Other players see only what the game reveals publicly. The host console is the only privileged screen in the game.

What We Don't Do
We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. This website uses no tracking pixels and sets no cookies.

Children
Guilty Party is designed for players 13 and older, with an adult host running the game.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders.
