The Hot Seat
120 seconds under pressure — plus two one-time escape cards.
Two minutes. One suspect.
Hot Seat briefingYou’re in the Hot Seat. They are coming for you. You have 120 seconds to sweat it out and get your story straight.
Defend yourself, deflect onto someone shiftier, or lie with total commitment — the timer doesn’t care which. The table has already spent the round investigating you; the clock is all that’s left between you and the verdict.
When the questioning ends
The grilling comes first. Then, before leaving the seat, the physical Investigation Deck comes out: the suspect draws two cards in secret and plays one face-up. The other card is a choice — reveal it and it shuffles back into the deck, or discard it face-down and it's gone from the game forever.
